On Friday afternoon it was Nerf or nothing for the second annual Nerf War at the Crawford County Fair.
Held inside the Youth Building, fifty-two participants waged war with each other. Once participants chose a side all that was left was to load their Nerf weapon and begin firing away.
Ryan Ruth, a ten-year-old from Wynford, had a blast at the Crawford County Fair Nerf War. Explaining his weapon of choice Ruth said, “My favorite gun was the “Fire Strike.”
“I love the Nerf Gun Wars; it’s one of my favorite things besides playing DS. I hit someone in the chest and someone hit me in the chest, same spot, but, and they don’t hurt, it is just like a light tap,” Ruth continued.
There were just a few rules to remember for the Crawford County Fair Nerf War: always wear safety glasses, reload fast, and have fun.
