The Galion Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is giving students the opportunity to experience the joy of choosing their own special holiday gifts for family and friends. The organization is hosting Santa’s Secret Shop in the Galion Intermediate School Dec. 1-5.
Primary and Intermediate School students will visit the shop at specified times during the school day throughout the week. Parent volunteers will help students find the perfect gifts for those on their list.
“This is not a fundraiser for our organization,” PTO Treasurer Bryan Summer said. “We are offering this service as an opportunity for students to buy holiday gifts for their family and friends.”
A letter outlining the entire program was sent home with students, along with an envelope that will allow students to keep track of those for whom they will be purchasing gifts. A complete schedule for class shopping days can be downloaded from the district’s website at www.galionschools.org.
