BUCYRUS—The Bucyrus Police Department would like to remind the community that National Night Out is happening on Tuesday, August 3 and there are several parties planned throughout the city.
“With the lifting of COVID restrictions, we are excited about the many block parties planned in celebration of this nationwide event,” said Captain Tom Walker of the Bucyrus Police Department.
National Night Out began in 1984 after it was introduced by Matt Peskin, the founder and executive director of the National Association of Town Watch. The goal of the event is to foster a strong relationship between neighbors and law enforcement.
