BUCYRUS – A new towing company in town is making a name for itself, both on the road and off.

Lemaster Towing & Recovery LLC, 1104 River Road, takes calls around the clock for emergency roadside assistance.  But they’re also quick to show up with a tow truck after an accident or simply to help someone who is locked out of their car.

“We’re basically towing recovery and roadside assistance,” said Abbey Lemaster, who owns the business along with her husband, Chris Lemaster.  “We’re still new and trying to get our name out there.  We’re the babies of the industry right now.”

The couple, who opened the business last October, service customers in Crawford, Marion, and surrounding counties.  They recently landed a contract with Triple A in Marion, which has boosted business especially in that county, she said.

Abbey Lemaster said vehicle lockouts are commonplace in their line of work, as are flat tire repairs and fuel deliveries for stranded motorists.  The company also handles some personal requests to tow vehicles from homes to area auto repair shops.

Chris Lemaster, a Bucyrus native, worked as a welder before deciding to venture out on his own.  He also worked a few years for an area towing company, which piqued his interest in that particular line of work.

“That’s what really got him interested,” said Abbey Lemaster.  “It’s been a thought process for us for a couple of years now and we finally decided to just go ahead and do it.”

Chris Lemaster said that while most of his calls are for roadside assistance, the firm from the get-go has focused on providing quality service that is safe, fast, and affordable – all by dialing 419-561-2688 – any time of day or night.
