GALION―Two Galion businesses reported receiving counterfeit $20 bills on Thursday.

At 10:24 a.m., an employee at Burger King reported the business had received a counterfeit $20 bill and at 1:35 p.m., an employee of the Bell Store reported that the business received a counterfeit $20 bill.

The incidents are under investigation by Galion Police.

11:06 a.m.-Officers conducted a standby for Children Services personnel in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

12 p.m.-A First Avenue resident reported cash stolen from their residence by someone they know.

3:31 p.m.-A standby was conducted at the Rainbow Motel for Children Services personnel.

5:03 p.m.-One person was arrested for domestic violence when officers were called to a residence in the 700 block of Surrey Drive for a domestic dispute.

5:17 p.m.-A search warrant was served by officers at a residence in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

5:51 p.m.-A report of people riding go-carts and four-wheelers in the alley and throwing stones in the 400 block of Grand Street was investigated.

8:28 p.m.-. A report of a male speeding on a motorcycle in the Grove Avenue area was investigated. The person was issued a warning for being out after dark and riding with no helmet.

8:30 p.m.-A West Summit Street resident reported a person was harassing a family member.

9:06 p.m.-Officers searched a vehicle during a traffic stop in the South Boston Street area. A warning was issued to the driver for traffic violations and marijuana-related items were seized.

10:44 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 100 block of East Street was investigated.
