BUCYRUS — Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are implementing a few changes to the recycling process. After speaking with the Ohio Department of Health, we are changing the following:
When bringing your recyclables to the recycling center, leave them outside and ring the buzzer. The public will not be permitted inside the building. Please have your items properly sorted. If they are not, your recyclables WILL NOT be accepted.
When using the recycling trailers: Do not place any recyclables in bags or in the wrong compartments in the trailers. We are significantly reducing the number of items we are touching. If the bin is too contaminated, mixed up or has too many bags in it, the entire bin will go in the landfill. IF THE COMPARTMENT IS FULL, TAKE IT HOME AND BRING IT ANOTHER DAY OR BRING IT HERE. Otherwise, it will not be recycled.
