GALION―A traffic stop led to the arrest of one person in the Harding Way West area.

At 11:41 p.m. on Friday, the K-9 unit was called to the scene to assist in the search of a vehicle stopped by Galion Police and there was a positive indication for drugs in the vehicle.

The person was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center and the vehicle is being held at a city lot.

9:02 a.m.-A Sherman Street resident reported their vehicle broken into.

11:11 a.m.-An Edward Street resident reported someone forged their name on a document.

5:36 pm.-Gregory Crabbe was issued a citation for expired tags in the 800 block of Harding Way West.

6:52 p.m.-A new car kit was found in the 500 block of Galion Arms and turned over to police.

8:18 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person was investigated in the 100 block of North Washington Street.

10:14 p.m.-A John Street resident reported cash and coins stolen from their residence.

10:56 p.m.-A report of an odor of marijuana in the 400 block of Portland Way North was investigated. There was no odor when officers arrived but the people involved admitted smoking marijuana.

1:08 a.m.-Officers gave an intoxicated man a ride home.

12:02 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of South Boston Street.

3:32 p.m.-Kimberly R. Borders was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the Cherry Street area.

4:05 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of First Avenue.

5:50 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 800 block of Smith Street but officers were unable to make contact with the person.

9:39 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 600 block of North Market Street and the person was fine.

3:22 a.m.-Eden Riddle was issued a citation for driving without a license in the 100 block of East Street.

12:03 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of North Liberty Street.

1:20 p.m.-A South Murray Street resident reported $150 stolen from his residence by a woman he found on a prostitution website. The man decided not to file charges due to possibly being charged himself.

1:23 p.m.-A person reported items stolen from them while in the 400 block of Harding Way East.

1:51 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue.

5:24 p.m.-A Sixth Avenue resident reported their paycheck stolen by someone they know.

6:19 p.m.-A report of a fight in the South Union Street area was investigated.

7:17 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a juvenile in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue and everything was fine.
