NEW WASHINGTON — A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus is being investigated by the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 7:38 a.m. on State Route 103 west of Marsh Street.
The Buckeye Central Local Schools bus was westbound when it stopped to pick up students. The bus had its red flashing lights activated.
Keira Haynes, 20, of Willard, was driving a 2018 Ford Fusion and struck the rear of the bus. Haynes was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance and distracted driving.
Approximately 40 students were on-board at the time of the crash.
No injuries were reported.
