BUCYRUS―A Bucyrus man was arrested after Bucyrus Police officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of South East Street and Woodlawn Avenue at 10:16 p.m. Friday.

Joseph Lawhun, 32, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant and issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held on the warrant and the vehicle he was driving was towed from the scene.

7:11 a.m.-A disturbance in the 700 block of Beverly Drive was investigated.

8:48 a.m.-A report of a reckless driver on South Poplar Street was investigated.

9:13 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a person going through vehicles in the 100 block of Hill Street.  The suspect was gone upon the officer’s arrival.

11:23 a.m.-A person came to the station to report receiving a counterfeit $100 in a transaction. Officers are investigating.

12:17 p.m.-An Emerson Street resident reported someone hot-rodding in front of his residence.

2:15 p.m.-Officers issued a motorist a verbal warning for driving left of center in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street.

3:48  p.m.-Officers attempted to contact a person in the 300 block of Hopley Avenue.

4:39  p.m.-Officers investigated a 911 hang up in the 800 block of Sherman Street.

6:49 p.m.- A traffic accident was reported in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

7:43 p.m.- Officers spoke to a resident in the 800 block of Wingert Street about a landlord-tenant issue.

8:02 p.m.-Officers made a welfare check on Home Circle Drive.

8:48 p.m.-A disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Beverly Drive. Officers spoke to an individual having mental health issues.

9:29 p.m.-A disturbance in the 800 block of South Poplar Street was investigated and it was a motorist revving an engine.

11:10 p.m.-A resident in the 400 block of West Warren Street spoke to an officer about her daughter being bullied over the internet.

11:12 p.m.-A report of a vehicle blocking the roadway in the 300 block of River Street was investigated.  The vehicle was gone before officers arrived in the area.

11:58 p.m.-A disturbance in the 100 block of Emerson Street was investigated. People were throwing snow on each other after getting out of a hot tub.

12:11 a.m.-Officers stopped to check on a deputy out with a suspect in the area of West Rensselaer and South Poplar Streets. An intoxicated man was checked by EMS personnel before being transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.

7:22 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a vehicle that slid off the roadway on the off-ramp of US 30 at North Sandusky Avenue. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

2:19 p.m.-Officers checked the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street after a report of a suspicious couple in the area.

6:12 p.m.- Officers spoke to a Lynne Avenue resident about a civil matter.

7:09 p.m.- A traffic complaint was taken in the 300 block of East Oakwood Avenue.

7:11 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 100 block of Kincora Drive.

7:16 p.m.- A vandalism report was made in the 1600 block of Colonial Drive.

7:25 p.m.-A disturbance was reported in the area of South Spring and West Rensselaer Streets.

8:12 p.m.-A motorist was stopped near Marion Road and West Southern Avenue.  A citation was issued to the driver of the vehicle for driving under suspension. A juvenile passenger was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:39 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 700 block of Ann Street.

9:42 p.m.- Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the area of North Sandusky Avenue and Plymouth Street.

10:06 p.m.- A theft complaint was taken in the 900 block of South Highland Avenue.

10:27 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 200 block of South Spring Street. It was a sign that had blown into the roadway.

10:44 p.m.-Officers delivered a message to a resident in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue for Ontario Police.

2:53 a.m.-Officers checked the alleyway off of the 1100 block of Teddy Avenue after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Nothing was located.

3:22 a.m.-Officers responded to a report of a domestic argument and people yelling in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street. William Wade, 46, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

3:44 a.m.-A resident in the 1300 block of Grandview Drive reported someone tapping on their windows.

4:24 a.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies by responding to an alarm at the Firelands Credit Union.

12:06 p.m.-Officers warned a young man for playing in the river at Aumiller Park.

12:17 p.m.-Officers spoke to a motorist at Aumiller Park.

12:20 p.m.-A report of a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Faustina Avenue was investigated.

1:34 p.m.-Officers checked the Rose Court area after a report of two suspicious males in the area. They were utility employees working on utility poles.

3:38 p.m.- Jessica Rumer, was arrested at the police department on charges of trespassing, drug possession, drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

4:21 p.m.-A traffic complaint was made in the 1600 block of East Southern Avenue. A motorist had been stuck at the side of the road.

4:26 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street.

4:42 p.m.-A two-vehicle injury accident involving a red Dodge pickup and green Lincoln was investigated in the 1600 block of Marion Road near McDonald’s. The Bucyrus Fire Department and Portsmouth EMS also responded to the scene for reported injuries. The driver of the pickup was treated and released at Bucyrus Community Hospital and issued a citation. The Lincoln was towed due to disabling damage.

7:24 p.m.- An animal complaint was made in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.

7:39 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of North Lane Street. The people involved reported that they had a misunderstanding.

8:13 p.m.- An animal complaint was made in the 400 block of Sheckler Street.

9:40 p.m.- A person was warned for trespassing in the 700 block of High Street in which a resident reported a motorist driving on her property.

10:27 p.m.- A domestic dispute was reported in the 500 block of Failor Avenue. A man reportedly threw a sandwich at a partner, was getting rowdy and walked from the area. No assaults were reported.

1:29 a.m.-Officers responded with the Bucyrus Fire Department for a report of an open burn in the 900 block of North Sandusky Avenue. The resident was assisted in putting it out.
