The Crawford County Common Pleas Court docket was filled with familiar names on Wednesday morning as several people now find themselves facing charges of violating probation.
First before Judge Sean Leuthold, however, was Beverly Rice who was arraigned on a felony 5 charge involving a prescription for dangerous drugs, namely illegal processing of drug documents.
Rice, 49, is from Bucyrus and will be represented by James Mayer. The judge set her bond at $50,000.
The remaining seven people on the morning docket were all making initial appearances for alleged probation violations.
Ryan Mason is alleged to have operated a motor vehicle under the influence, having a blood/alcohol test of .195 and testing positive for cocaine. Mason will be represented by Grant Garverick and bond was set at $100,000.

Melissa Lavene will be represented by Brad Starkey and her bond is $50,000. Lavene is alleged to been charged with an OVI with a blood/alcohol test of .274, consuming alcohol and being charged with disorderly conduct.

The judge appointed John Andrew Motter to represent Ayrica Jones and set her bond at $50,000. Jones is alleged to have committed OVI after having a positive drug screen and testing positive for opiates.

Eddie Awbrey is alleged to have tested positive for cocaine, admitting to using cocaine and associating with a convicted felon. Awbrey’s bond was set at $100,000 and James Mayer was appointed to represent him.

Joseph Lawhun is charged with violating probation for allegedly driving under suspension, driving with fictitious license plates, testing positive for opiates and possessing drug paraphernalia. Lawhun’s bond was set at $75,000 and he will be represented by attorney Brian Gernert.

Shawna Holman’s bond was set by the judge following allegations she tested positive for cocaine, admitted to using marijuana and associating with a convicted felon. Joel Spitzer was appointed to represent her.

Sheree Pfeifer is charged with violating probating after being unsuccessfully terminated from CROSSWAEH. That report indicated Pfeifer was terminated for lack of progress and several major violations of program rules. Her bond was set at $75,000 and Grant Garverick was appointed as her legal counsel.
