For the third time in nine days, the county’s law enforcement agencies teamed up to execute a search warrant that has resulted in multiple arrests and seizure of property. This time the multiple-agency task force of the Crawford County Special Response Team, METRICH and the Crestline Police Department executed a search warrant Thursday afternoon at 904 Dales Place in Crestline.

The Special Response Team includes officers from the Crawford County sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus and Galion Police departments, as well as members of the Bucyrus and Galion Fire departments. Thursday’s drug bust began at 3:41 p.m.

Those arrested included three residents of that address – 47-year-old Angela Carroll, 26-year-old Chelsea Prosser, and 22-year-old Brooke Weickum – plus Bucyrus resident 40-year-old Charles Tyler.

Carroll, Prosser and Weickum are being held on felony drug charges while Tyler is being held and charged with a probation violation. Weickum has a pending charge that was filed in May in Crawford County Common Pleas Court for felony drug possession. Tyler was convicted in March of 2014 of felony drug possession in Crawford County and placed on three years of community control.

Officers seized suspected heroin, pills, syringes, drug paraphernalia and more than $1,000 cash.
