A rash of drug searches of late has led to an influx of charges involving methamphetamines and that in turn resulted in several high bonds at Monday’s felony arraignments in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.
Three people were charged with methamphetamine-related charges. Bond were set for all three – Korinthia Wireman, Alfonso Villavicencio Jr., and Stacy Jones – at $750,000.
Likewise all three are charged specifically with F1 illegal manufacture of drugs and F2 possession of chemicals for use in the illegal manufacture of drugs. Wireman is also charged with felony 5 drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instruments.
The first- and second-degree charges in all three cases, if convicted, carry maximum prison sentences of 11 and eight years, respectively. The first-degree charges have a mandatory minimum sentence of four years and the second-degree charges a mandatory minimum sentence of three years.
Villavicencio and Jones are co-defendants as a result of a meth lab investigation and subsequent search warrant investigation in Monnett on April 18.
