High bonds were set in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Monday morning for people involved in the illegal manufacturing of drugs.
Matthew Alley, who was arrested after the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office turned up a meth lab at 420 Jackson Rd., was brought up on felony 1 illegal manufacturing of drugs and felony 3 tampering with evidence. Andrew Motter was appointed as Alley’s attorney and bond was set at $1 million.
Alley’s co-defendant, Natasha Dent, was also arraigned on a charge of felony one illegal manufacturing of drugs and felony 5 drug possession. She received a $150,000 bond and had Bernie Davis appointed as her counsel.

The other significant bond amount was given to Joseph Murphy. Murphy was charged with felony 1 illegal manufacturing of drugs and felony 5 permitting drug abuse. He received a $1 million bond and had Thomas Nicholson appointed as his attorney.

Six cases with eight total charges have yet to be served or arraigned and remain sealed.
