The Galion Police Department, with the assistance of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus Police Department, Crawford County Special Response Team and the Galion Fire Department, conducted a search warrant at 626 S. Market St., Galion, Ohio Thursday morning as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

626 S. Market St. drug bust 09-17-15 (3)During the search, officers seized articles of drug paraphernalia and items believed to be drugs of abuse. The potential drugs of abuse will be sent to a laboratory for testing. Three individuals found at this address were arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail pending formal filing of criminal charges.

Twenty-six-year-old Brandon Johnson Jr., who resides at the Market Street address, was charged with trafficking in drugs. Keelie Moyer, 25, was charged with permitting drug abuse and possession of drugs and 28-year-old Cody Moyer was charged with trafficking in drugs. Both Moyers were listed as homeless.

“Once again, joint efforts were utilized to halt drug activity in one of our neighborhoods. We continue to urge our communities to forward any and all information to your local law enforcement agency when you believe that illegal activities are occurring,” said Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield.

The Galion Police Department, Bucyrus Police Department, and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office are all participants of the METRICH Drug Task Force.
