The Wynford volleyball team continued its late-season rise up the standings of the N10 with a three-game sweep of Upper Sandusky on Tuesday. The Lady Royals climbed into a tie for fifth with Upper Sandusky after the 25-19, 25-17 and 15-15 win.
Wynford is now 6-9 in the league and 8-13 overall. Upper Sandusky’s record is now 6-9 and 6-15.
Macey Zinser paced Wynford at the net with eight kills and Jenna Coffman added seven. Tara Zinser had five blocks and Coffman knocked back three. Coffman also had two of Wynford’s five aces on the evening.
Coffman dished out 28 assists. Bailey Alspach and Gabby Grove each had 13 digs.
Wynford finishes its regular season on Thursday at Buckeye Central. Upper Sandusky will be at home the same night against Colonel Crawford.
