The Wynford Lady Royals extended their season Thursday night after downing the Genoa Comets in the Division III District Semi-Final at Seneca East.
Led by Brenna Quinn’s 16 points, Wynford beat Genoa by a final of 53-59.
Meghan Harrer and Ellie Richmond both contributed 14 points in Wynford’s victory.
With the win Wynford now sits at 18-6 and will return to Seneca East on Satruday will play the Oak Harbor Rockets in the Division III District Final. Tip off for the championship game is at 3 p.m.
In their loss, Genoa had a pair scoring a baker’s dozen with Craly Gose and Haley Pickard each scoring 13. Katie Jenson added 11 points.
