FINDLAY — Wynford High School’s girls’ golf team made history Monday.

The Lady Royals carded a 373 to finish four strokes behind Archbold in the Division II Northwest District tournament at Sycamore Springs. Wynford will compete in the state golf tournament for the first time in school history at Heatherwoode Golf Course in Springboro next Monday.

Junior Caroline Sheldon’s 79 was good for fourth place.
