SPRINGBORO (Crawford County Now) — Wynford High School finished 10th in the Division II girls state golf tournament at Heatherwoode Golf Course Tuesday.

Rain washed out the second day and will not be made up. A post on X from the OHSAA said: “The second round of the Division II girls golf tournament has been canceled due to inclement weather.”

Results from Monday’s round determined individual and team scores.

This marked the Lady Royals first state appearance. They recorded a score of 390 and were led by junior Caroline Sheldon’s 82.

Willa Johnson, 54-60-114

Maggie Ridge, 48-49-97

Megan Young, 58-57-115

Columbus Academy won the team championship with a team score of 317 led by Eva Lim’s 71, with Madeira (327) second and Fenwick (343) third.

Mansfield St. Peter’s Chaeyeon Kim finished fifth with a 73.
