Ridgedale 3, Wynford 2

HOLMES TOWNSHIP — Wynford rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie its volleyball match at 2-2 against visiting Ridgedale. But the Rockets won the decisive fifth game, 15-9, to win the match, 3-2, in a Northern 10 contest.

Ridgedale (2-1, 2-0 N10) took the first two games by scores of 25-22 and 25-19. The Royals rallied with wins of 25-18 and 25-22.

Kelsie Williams was 20 of 23 serving with two aces and 13 points for Wynford (2-4, 1-2). She added 16 digs and 10 assists.

Macey Zinser had 12 kills and four blocks, while Lyndie Williams had 24 receptions.

Wynford won the jayvee match, 2-0, by scores of 25-23 and 26-24.
