Wynford and Carey needed an extra period to settle the score of their game Friday night, but in the end it was the Blue Devils walking away with a 76-66 overtime victory.

The Royals started the game sluggish; however, by the half they were able to lead the Tigers 29-22. The second half was back and forth with Carey coming from behind to tie the game at 63 to send the game into overtime. During the bonus period, Carey would go on to outscore Wynford 13-3 for the final and the win.

Cody Luzader led the Blue Devils with a game high 27 points, Trey Bame added 26 points, and Garrett Summit added 10 points. Cleaning up on the glass for Carey was Griffin Summit snagging 15 rebounds, and Hayden Stone adding 10 rebounds.

With the win Carey improves to 9-7 on the season and 9-4 in the N10. The Blue Devils will travel to Vanlue Saturday.

Wynford was led by Jack Reed’s 22 points. Zach Hoffman added 19 points and Josh Crall contributed 13 points.

Wynford falls to 8-7 on the season and 7-5 in the N10.

Colonel Crawford picked up their 10th conference victory on the season Friday night with a 61-44 over the Seneca East Tigers.

The Eagles flew out of the gates racking up a 32-25 lead at the half. The Tigers were able to keep it close until the fourth when Colonel Crawford outpaced them 17-8 for the victory.

Brody Martin led all scorers in the game with 19 points for Crawford. Heath Starkey added 15 points including an alley-oop dunk late in the fourth while Gavin Feichtner added 12 points on four three pointers for the Eagles.

With the victory Colonel Crawford improves to 12-4 on the season and 10-2 in the N10. The Eagles will travel to Bucyrus Saturday.

The Tigers were led by Johnny Diehm’s 14 points.

With the loss Seneca East falls to 8-8 on the season and 4-8 in the N10. They will host Upper Sandusky Saturday.

Upper Sandusky remained undefeated on the season eking out a 61-54 win over Buckeye Central.

Wes Vent led the Rams with 26 points and Evan Young added 13 points to the Rams efforts.

With the win the Rams improve to 17-0 on the season and 11-0 in the N10. They will travel to Seneca East Saturday.

Buckeye Central’s Jacob Shade led all scorers in the game with 28 points, Trenton Langjahr added 11 points.

With the loss the Bucks fall to 7-9 on the season and 5-6 in the N10.

In other action around the N10 Mohawk defeated Bucyrus 69-64, and Ridgedale defeated Shekinah Christian 70-63.

In other Crawford County action the Marion Pleasant Lady Spartans defeated the Galion Lady Tigers 58-35.
