The Wynford Royals baseball team continued their winning ways picking up a postseason victory over the Ridgemont Golden Gophers 14-6.
Pitcher Wyatt Smith led the Royals through six innings striking out 12 and giving up three earned runs before handing the pitching reigns over to Blake Williamson for the final inning. Smith also went three for five hitting with two RBI’’s and two runs.
Jordan Imbody had three RBI’s on a two for five batting performance. Thad Hensel went two for three batting with two RBI’s and a run for the Wynford Royals.
Wynford will next play New London on May 17 at 2 p.m. at Galion High School.
