It was the Willard boys and Mohawk girls taking home the title at the Wynford Junior High Track Invitational Friday evening.
With rain clouds hanging in the air the Willard Flashes cruised to their win with 134 points and first place finishes in the 4×400 relay, 200-meter dash (Josh Stevens), 800-meter run (Ethan Stone) , 400 meter dash (Myles Pinkston), and high jump (Pinkston).
Seneca East was next closest with 101.5 points followed by Colonel Crawford with 72.5 points on the day.
On the girls side it was the Mohawk Lady Warriors scoring 97 points with Paityn Clouse grabbing first place finishes in the 200 meter hurdles and 100-meter dash, and Taeylor Mullholand and Catherine Klopp taking the top two spots in the high jump.
