The Bucyrus Softball Association will be hosting a Men’s Softball Tournament to run in conjunction with the 49th annual Bratwurst Festival.
This will be a two-day tournament ran under the three-game guarantee format and will be played within the guidelines of the 2016 NSA rule book unless otherwise noted. The tournament will take place on Aug. 20 and 21 at the Bucyrus Lions Field.
A $185 fee will be required for entry and all teams will hit their own 12”, 52 core/.275 compression softball. Any ball used must have the official NSA logo stamped on the ball. For an additional fee teams will be able to add two designated home run hitters.

There will also be a Bratwurst Coed Softball Tournament with a double elimination format on Aug. 13. Entry fee is $150 and teams must provide their own girls 11-inch and mens 12 inch, 52 core/.275 compression softball. Drawing for the tournament is 7 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Lions Park. First place will receive a cash prize.
