The Sam Sabback Girls Tennis Invitational will be this Saturday, September 6 at 10 a.m. at Bucyrus Secondary School.

This will be the 3rd annual invitational with six teams invited. In addition to Bucyrus tennis players competing on their home court, Ontario, Clear Fork, Upper Sandusky, Marion Harding, and Shelby will also be competing.

Shelby is the defending team champion. There will be individual medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in singles and doubles.

This tournament was founded and named after Sam Sabback in appreciation for his dedication to the Bucyrus area in teaching and promoting tennis for all area youth for over 30 years.

Admission is free and the public in invited to attend and watch some of the top tennis players in the Bucyrus area compete.
