The Buckeye Central Buckettes basketball season came to an end Thursday night in Shelby at the Hands of the New Riegel Blue Jackets.
The Division IV District Semi-Final started off with a bang for the Blue Jackets out pacing the Buckettes 20-3 in the first quarter. While Buckeye outscored New Riegel in the second half, they still came up short 55-32.
Kilee Kimmel led the Buckettes in scoring with 12 points, Hailey Hildebrand contributed 8.
The Buckettes finish the season with an 11-14 record.
The Blue Jackets were led by Taylor Arbogast with 14 points, Kary Scherger and Taylor Kirian with 12 points each. Lauren Ladd contributed 11 points.
New Riegel will take on South Central in the Division IV District Final at 7 p.m. at Shelby High School.
