The Galion men’s swim team dominated the Pleasant Spartans in their home waters on Dec. 8, while the Lady Spartans returned the favor.

The men’s Tigers team controlled the pool with wins in all their events and, in most cases, took home second place, too. Eli Skaggs and Sam Rigdon were double winners at the meet and the men’s relay teams finished in the top placings.

“I was happy with the team’s performance,” said Galion swim coach Ted Temple. “We had 28 personal best swims out of 66 total swims. I believe we are right where we should be at this time of the season, maybe even ahead of schedule.”

The Galion men’s team finished with a score of 81-12 while the women’s team was defeated 53-38.
