The streak is over. Buckeye Central snapped their losing streak thanks to many game changing plays on Friday night. With Buckeye Central leading by one possession midway through the 2nd quarter, Bucyrus took over after a turnover on downs from the Bucks at their own 17 yard line. A couple plays later they were backed up even more. That is when our Spitzer Motors Game Changer came into play. Lane Carter for Bucyrus was standing inside his own 5 ready to punt and try to stay within one possession heading close to half time. Owen Diesch had other plans. After the snap, Diesch broke through the line off the left edge and had a clear path at the punter. Diesch blocked the punt and sent it through the back of the end zone. Not only did this put the Bucks up 10-0, they took the ball after the safety punt and scored on their next possession to extend the lead even more.
