HOLMES TOWNSHIP — It took one play from scrimmage to determine the Spitzer Motors Game Changer from the Wynford versus Buckeye Central game on Friday night.
Buckeye Central threw a pass into the flat, and into the waiting hands of defensive lineman Blake Beckley. The senior took the interception and ran it 20 yards for a pick 6 to give Wynford a 7-0 lead.
That would be far from the only score for the Royals as they went on to win, 70-8, but Beckley’s interception return set the tone from the very first snap. Congratulations to Blake Beckley of Wynford High School for winning our Spitzer Motors Game Changer.
