The Galion Lady Tigers basketball season came to an end last night. Galion was defeated by Shelby, 54-35 at the Division 2 sectional tournament at Mansfield Senior High School.
Shelby scored the first 8 points of the game and the Lady Tigers got no closer than 6 the rest of the night.
Galion scoring was led by Taylor Valentine, Raven Crawford and Grace Brown who had 8 points each.
Shelby was led in scoring by Taylor Fulton with 16 points, Kenna Goth had 12 and Gabby Stevens finished with 11.
Shelby will face Clear Fork for the sectional championship Saturday night at 8.
Earlier last night Lexington defeated Ontario 66-56 at Senior High. Lexington will face Madison at 6 pm Saturday in a sectional championship game.
