The Crestline Bulldogs and the Wynford Royals met last night for a Crawford County cross-conference matchup at Donnenwirth Gymnasium.
An exciting first half sent the teams to the locker tied at 29 and each team having two players in double figures scoring.
Wynford caught fire from behind the arc in the second half and began to pull away early in the fourth quarter. The Royals went on to win the ballgame 62- 49 behind 13 3-pointers.
Zach Hoffman led Wynford with 19 points, while Jack Reed and Jordan Creel added 17 and 16 respectively.
Crestline’s Ty Clark led all scorers with 21 points. He also pulled down 14 rebounds as he registered a double-double. Davon Triplett had a double-double of his own with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Wynford will play Saturday at home against Seneca East in an N10 contest. Crestline also plays Saturday at Loudonville in a Mid-Buckeye Conference battle.
In N10 boys action on Tuesday it was Carey over Buckeye Central by the count of 64-49, Colonel Crawford bested Ridgedale 51-40, Mohawk edged Seneca East 59-43, and Upper Sandusky remained unbeaten with an 83-45 decision over Bucyrus.
