One catch was the difference when two unbeaten teams met at Gary Field on Friday and the player who made that catch was honored following the game as the difference maker.

Wynford wide receiver Tyler Glowaski was named by the Q92.7 play-by-play duo of Jeff Roberts and Josh Stallings as the Spitzer Game Changer in the Royals’ 28-21 win over Colonel Crawford.
“It’s kind of flattering,” Glowalski said of the recognition and the award. “I don’t play to get singled out. Just doing my job is my main focus.”
In a game that saw Colonel Crawford cut a 21-point deficit down to seven points, Glowaski caught the pivotal game-clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter. The senior sneaked away from the Colonel Crawford defense to catch a wide open five-yard score that gave the Royals a 28-14 lead that the Eagles were unable to overcome.
The victory moves the Royals to 4-0 on the season while Colonel Crawford was handed its first defeat to fall to 3-1 overall.

“I was the primary or the secondary target, me and the wing,” Glowaski said of his touchdown catch. “I got open on stepping in and then punching out. He (defender) bit and I got open on the play action.”
Glowaski finished the night with four catches for 74 yards and the critical touchdown.
Also picking up awards as named by Roberts and Stallings were Wynford quarterback Zach Hoffman and Colonel Crawford running back Blake Treish who were both honored as McDonalds/Q92.7 Players of the Game.
Hoffman was a near-perfect 13-of-14 passing for 141 yards and what proved to be the game-winning pass to Glowaski. However, it was Hoffman’s work with his legs that really turned heads. Hoffman rushed for 207 yards on a yeoman-like 36 carries for three touchdowns including a 44-yard scamper in the first quarter.

Treisch powered a Colonel Crawford rushing attack that went for 248 yards with 128 yards of his own on 18 carries. Treisch also found the end zone twice.
Spitzer Motors Game Changer of the Week award winners receive a T-shirt commemorating their performance and McDonalds Player of the Game honorees receive a gift certificate for two regular size value meals redeemable at either McDonalds of Bucyrus or Galion.
Each week for the balance of the local high school football season, Crawford County Now will feature winners of the Spitzer Game Changer of the Week and the McDonalds/Q/92 Player of the Game awards on Monday evenings as selected by Jeff Roberts and Josh Stallings.
