BUCYRUS (Crawford County Now) — River Valley slipped past Bucyrus, 3-2, in a tennis match on Wednesday.
The Lady Red first doubles team of Savannah Clark and Addie Weber moved to 8-1 on the season, dropping Lily Brown and Abbie Vin Dine 6-1, 6-0. The second doubles combo of Mya Rothhaar and Maci Messerschmidt improved to 5-4, getting past Sofia Olerrides and Zoey Wickham, 7-5, 6-0.
River Valley swept the singles matches for the win. Phoebe Klenzman downed Lily Engelhorn, 6-4, 6-1 in first singles. Lauren Hildreth stopped Serentiy Potts, 6-0, 6-0 in second singles and Addison Jordan blanked Meelah Marshall, 6-0, 6-0 in third singles.
Bucyrus (0-9) returns to action on Monday, traveling to Tiffin Calvert.
