BUCYRUS — The River Valley Lady Vikings stopped the Bucyrus Lady Red in a tennis match on Wednesday, 4-1.
Addy Young got the lone victory for Bucyrus (0-4) over Amelia Young in second singles, 6-3, 6-1.
Hannah Scott fell in three sets — 4-6, 6-2, 3-10 — to Rose Linville in first singles. The Vikings Elise Osborne blanked Natalie Hankins, 6-0. 6-0, in third singles.
In first doubles, Addi Comstock and Kennedy Rensch shut out Emma Graves and Amirah Price, 6-0, 6-0. In second doubles, Ava Stover and Brooke Adams edged Layla Swerlein and Addie Weber, 7-6, 6-3.
Bucyrus’ Ella Green and Mya Rothhaar won a junior varsity doubles match, 6-4, while Lady Faye McCoy and Isabel Johnson lost, 2-6.
The Lady Redmen return to action on Thursday at Upper Sandusky.
