Bucyrus roared out of the gate Tuesday night and never looked back in claiming a 61-43 win in boys’ basketball over Mt. Gilead. The Redmen are now 2-1 on the season while the Indians are still looking for their first win at 0-2.

Bucyrus led by 18 at the half and played even with their hosts after the break.

Brian Snouffer led four Redmen in double figres with 15. Darrien Hedges had 13, Greg Patrick 12 and Dalon King had 10.

Chris Godfrey had 15 to pace the Indians and Xavier Harris had 13.

Mt. gilead won the JV game, 51-31.
