Arik Schneider pitched seven solid innings for the Upper Sandusky Rams in a 3-2 win against the Wynford Royals Tuesday evening.
In a make-up game from yesterday, Schneider went the distance striking out nine Royals batters, allowing two runs on three hits with five walks. Schneider also went 1-3 batting, hitting a triple, driving in an RBI, and scoring a run in the Rams victory.
With the win the Rams improve to 11-11 on the season and 9-4 in the N10.
Caleb Stone pitched six innings for the Royals, allowing three runs on three hits while striking out two. Batting, Stone went 1-2, scoring both of Wynford’s runs. Thad Hensel also went 1-2 scoring the Royals’ only RBI of the game.
In taking the loss Wynford falls to 6-11 overall and 5-6 in the N10.
Both teams are scheduled to play each other today with a 5 p.m. scheduled start time.
Galion Defeated Northmor 7-4 on just three hits. Garrett Kuns hit 1-4 with a home run and four RBI’s for the Tigers.
In softball action the Lady Rams of Upper Sandusky defeated the Wynford Lady Royals 1-0.
