If there remained any doubters among the standing room only crowd Saturday night at Colonel Crawford’s Mac Morrison Gymnasium about the validity of Upper Sandusky’s claim to the top spot in the boys Division II AP poll, the Rams did all they could to make them believers.

Upper Sandusky raced to a 12-0 lead to start the game and never looked back on the way to an impressive 82-54 win over the Eagles. The Rams remain unbeaten at 8-0 midway through the league schedule and are 13-0 overall.

Colonel Crawford falls to 6-2 in league play and 8-4 overall.

Four Rams were in double figures for the evening, thanks in large part to 13 three-pointers for the visitor. Eli Kinley claimed scoring honors with 22, followed by Wes Vent with 21, Ry Adams with 14 and Jevon Dible wih 13.

Harley Shaum and Heath Starkey shared scoring honors for the Eagles with 14 points each. Jordan Fenner was also in double figures with 10 points off the bench.
