The Wynford Athletic Department has announced mandatory preseason meetings for all fall athletic programs grades 7-12. The purpose of a preseason meeting is designed to better inform the student-athlete and parent/guardian of their sons/daughters participation in Ohio High School Athletic Association sanctioned events.
Topics to be discussed include eligibility standards, liability, policy on alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, citizenship standards, and sporting conduct. Parents/Guardians will have an opportunity to meet their individual sport coaches and talk about season expectations, communicate specific information, and promote cooperative community action.
All meetings will take place at the high school. Attendance is required, if a student and his or her parents do not attend, any further participation in interscholastic athletics will be denied until the meeting can be completed. August 11, 2014 High School Auditorium 8 p.m.
BREAKOUT SESSION
Volleyball – Gymnasium
Cross Country – Cafeteria
Football – Auditorium
Golf – Library
Cheerleaders – Gymnasium
