On Friday, August 7, the OHSAA board of directors voted to have a 6-game varsity football schedule, followed by every OHSAA school automatically making the 2020 OHSAA football playoffs. Over the past weekend the Northern 10 Athletic Directors put together a 6-game schedule for all Northern 10 football teams as follows:

This schedule would give each conference football team 3 home games and 3 away games and moved original weeks 4–9 to weeks 1-6. The OHSAA playoffs will begin Friday, Oct. 9 with all teams making the OHSAA playoffs this season.
As stated over past weeks, the sport of football, a contact sport defined by Ohio Department of Health, still needs to be approved by the Governor and Ohio Department of Health to compete versus opposing schools.
With the sudden change by the OHSAA, the N10 ADs wanted to put together a schedule for all football athletes to compete if contact sports get the approval to play versus other schools. The N10 athletic directors will be meeting Wednesday to discuss junior varsity, freshman, and junior high football schedules. Direct questions to your school district athletic director.
