The Mohawk golf team captured the N10 regular season crown in a three-way race with Carey and Ridgedale when the Warriors won the league tournament Tuesday at Valley View.

The Warriors fired a four-man total for 18 holes of 337 with Carey seven back at 344. Those seven strokes were worth one point in the final standings which was all that separated the Warriors and Blue Devils who both finished with a regular season match record of 7-1 in conference play.

Ridgedale also had a 7-1 N10 match record, but a fourth-place finish in Tuesday’s tournament relegated the Rockets to third place in the final standings.

The race for tournament medalist was just as hotly contested. Teammates Johnny Diehm and Alex Forehand of Seneca East each finished with 8-over scores of 80 as did Brett Montgomery of Upper Sandusky. One stroke back were Mohawk teammates Chet Margraf and Carson Weinandy.
