Hailing from Fort Wayne, Galion Graders’ first baseman Trevor Snyder comes to the organization by way of Morehead State University.

Snyder, who currently is hitting .268 with 19 hits and 14 RBIs through 18 games, knew ahead of time that he was going to the Graders from Morehead State.
“I just got signed up with my college coach, before fall season started I knew I was coming here. My coaches assigned it to me,” Snyder said.
Snyder explained what he enjoys most about being on the Graders team.
“My favorite moment is just every game when it’s really close and we come through and get a win,” Snyder reported.
To some their favorite moment in their career maybe their first homerun, or playing on a legendary field. For the Carol High School graduate, his favorite moment was the day he signed his Letter of Intent to become a Morehead State Eagle. Snyder explained that he really enjoys it at his college.
“I like it a lot it at Morehead. I like playing ball there and everything, the coach is great, and I can’t wait to get back,” Snyder said.
Snyder noted what he looks forward to accomplishing while a member of the Graders organization.
“I want to hit for a good average, and hopefully we make the playoffs.” Snyder explained.
Snyder said he really likes the closeness of the Galion community.
“I really like that it is a tight community, a lot of people know each other,” Snyder noted. “I like that the mayor helped us out with all of our stuff, and that is big because he is pretty much the head of the community so that is good if we have him helping us out.”
