BUCKS TOP BULLDOGS IN N-10 GOLF
The Buckeye Central golf team remained unbeaten Monday by posting a 196-213 win over Crestline at Valley View. Buckeye Central is now 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in N-10 matches. Crestline slips to 0-3-1 overall and 0-2 in the N-10.
Zach Parker led the Bucks with a 47 and Derek Shell was a shot back at 48. Dillon Weithman had a 50 and Tanner Zaebst shot 51. Dalton Sheaffer shot 58 and Jerry Maier had a 73.
The Bulldogs’ Andy Lutz was match medalist with a 41. Other Crestline scores included Tyler Albright at 47, Nick Jeffrey at 62 and Quentin Jenkins with a 63.
LADY REDMEN VOLLEYBALL TEAM SWEPT BY NORTHMOR
The Bucyrus Lady Redmen volleyball team dropped its season opener to Northmor in three games, 10-25, 10-25 and 18-25.
Megan Flaherty led the Lady Redmen with five kills. Kelsi Simms and Gabby Seibert each had four. Flaherty was a perfect 8-ofo-8 serving for the Lady Redmen and Jackie Gabriel was 7-for-7. Nickie Tuttle had 11 digs and Simms had two blocks. Susie Frizzell had 10 assists.
