BUCYRUS — Bucyrus Road Materials finished the Bucyrus Major Little League Championship in dramatic fashion Thursday evening.

Hayden Langenderfer hit a walk-off 3-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to propel BRM to a decisive, dramatic 6-4 victory over Timken.

BRM trailed 4-3 going into the bottom of the sixth inning when Langenderfer homered on a 1-1 count with one out.

Timken scored three runs in the third inning, but BRM still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Timken came thanks to doubles by Micah Burke and Quinton Horner.

In the first inning, BRM got its offense started when Jaron Vance singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Drew Stanek started on the mound for BRM. He went three innings, allowing two hits and four runs while striking out eight.

Horner was on the mound for Timken, allowing three hits and three runs over three innings, striking out six. Braylon Wells threw two and a third innings in relief.

BRM scattered six hits in the game. Langenderfer and Jaxon Tate each had two hits, with Langenderfer adding a triple to his home run.

BRM was error free in the field. Stanek had nine chances to lead the way. BRM tore up the base paths, stealing seven bases. Eli Cooper, Vance and Stanek had two each.

Timken stole 11 bases during the game. Camden Redmon swiped four, Wyatt Makeever three and Horner two. Timken was sure handed in the field, also not committing a single error.
