It was a rough trip on Saturday for Wynford when the Lady Royals went to Arlington for their season opener in a non-conference volleyball match. The hosts swept their guests in three games: 25-22, 25-13 and 25-17.
Lainey Holman led Wynford at the net with seven kills. Olivia Grove and Macey Zinser had three each. Holman and Zinser also had two blocks apiece.
Defensively, Bailey Alspach had 15 digs. On offense, Jenna Coffman had 17 assists. At the service line, Gabby Grove had two aces.
