The Wynford Lady Royals season ended last night at the division 3 regional semifinal’s at Lexington High School. Wynford was defeated by Columbus Africentric 52-32, to end their season at 19-7.
The Lady Royals scored the first basket of the game, but the Lady Nubians scored the next 9 and never trailed again on the way to their 23rd win of the season.
Wynford was led in scoring by Brenna Quinn with 12 points. Africentric scoring was led by Sierra Harley with 14.
Playing their final game for Wynford were KarLee Schiefer, Meghan Harrer, Beth Delong, Brenna Quinn and Sarah Stenson. A photo gallery from Wednesday’s contest is on the Photo page.
Africentric will face Archbold Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at Lexington High School for the regional championship.
