The Bucyrus Lady Redmen held their final stand against Thursday night in the Division III District Semi-Finals.
After spotting Oak Harbor a 13-3 lead at the end of the first, the Lady Redmen rallied late outscoring the Rockets 16-9 in the fourth, but it was too little too late as Oak Harbor took the game by six 54-48.
Macey Sheerer led all scorers in the game as well as had a double-double with 25 points, and 11 rebounds. Kristen Orewiler contributed 8 points to the Lady Redmen Cause.
The Bucyrus Lady Redmen season ends with an 18-6 record.
Oak Harbor was led by Maddy Rathbun with 19 points, Andrea Cecil had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Emma Barney contributed 11 for the Rockets.
The Oak Harbor Rockets will play the Wynford Royals at 3 p.m Saturday in the Division III District Final.
