The Bucyrus Lady Redmen wrapped up regular season play last night by hosting the Ontario Lady Warriors in a non-conference tilt.
Ontario led throughout most of the ball game on the way to a 48-30 victory.
Shania Orewiler recorded a double-double for the Lady Redmen with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Alivia Lewis added eight points.
Bucyrus finishes 5-16 on the season. They matchup against Willard High School in the sectional tournament on Feb. 22 at Lexington High school.
In other girls games around the area, Colonel Crawford fell to a St. Peter’s second half rally. The Lady Spartans picked up the 43-38 wn which ends the Lady Eagles regular season mark at 11-11. Colonel Crawford was led by Alexus Burkhart who had 17 points and Ashley Gwirtz poured in 16.
Carey defeated Seneca East 44-29 in N10 action and Upper Scioto Valley defeated Mohawk, 38-36.
