Buckeye Central’s Jenna Karl was named Player of the Year in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference and her coach, Greg Moore, was tabbed as Coach of the Year.
The Buckettes’ season continues in the state final four on Thursday, as testament to the choices.
Karl, a senior, has averaged 14.8 points per game, dished out 7.2 assists and led the N10 in 3-point shooting percentage in leading Buckeye Central to a 26-1 record so far.
Teammate Courtney Pifher also made first team. The only other county player on the first team is Bucyrus’ Shaina Orewiler. Olivia Grove, of Wynford, was named to the second team.
