Colonel Crawford junior Chad Johnson captured his third state crown of the school year on Saturday at the Division III state track meet, while Galion’s Colin McCullough brought home a gold as well.

Johnson completed his trifecta by winning the 3,200-meters in a time of 9:20.38.

Johnson’s other two state championships came in cross country last November and indoor track in March.

Galion senior Colin McCullough took first in the 300-meter hurdles with a time if 37.77. He was third in the 110-meter race.

McCullough later teamed with Takoda Crisman, Colbey Fox and Harrison Ivy to take 6th in the 4 X 400 relay with a time of 3:23.48.
