GALION (Crawford County Now) — Colonel Crawford girls were third and the boys fifth in the Galion Kiwanis Invitational here Friday night.

The hosts were ninth and 11th, with Wynford boys and girls 10th and 11th, respectively.

The Lady Eagles were led by Mira Holt’s two firsts and a second place.

  • Holt took first in the 400 meters in 58.80, a personal record time.
  • She won the long jump in 16 feet, 6.25 inches, and she also notched second in the 100 meters with a personal record time of 12.71.
  • Wynford’s Adison Stuckey took fourth in the 100 meters in 13.04.
  • Jacob Chambers of Galion finished first in the 100 meters in 10.91, while teammate Zach Sallee came in fourth in 11.07.
  • Wynford’s Anthony Evans took second in the boys 100 meters in 50.89.
  • Adam Scott of Colonel Crawford placed second in the 800 meters in 1:57.78.
  • Eagles teammate Shawn Auck got third in the 3200 meters in 10:13.67.
  • Logan Goddard pole vaulted 12 feet, 6 inches, good for third place and a PR.
  • Gabby Roston went 11 feet to win the girls pole vault and get into the Ohio top 50.
  • Dom Dean was fourth in the discus with a PR of 145 feet, 4 inches. Luke Christman was fifth at 142 feet, 6 inches.

Boggs wins three events at Bob Knoll Invitational

NEW LONDON — Bucyrus boys rolled to the team championship with 161.5 points to Western Reserve’s 96.

Multiple Redmen took top honors, with Karter Boggs winning three events.

  • Boys 4X800 meter relay of Charlie Miley, Kyle Pifer, AJ Griffin, and Carter Bierce won in 9:10.40.
  • Maseo Hall took the 110-meter hurdles in 15.90 and the 300-meter hurdles in 42.98.
  • Boys 4X200 meter relay of Hall, DaShawn Cosey, Demaris Munn-Page and Christian Neal clocked 1:34.68 to win the event.
  • In the 4X100 Neal, Miley, Grady Weber, and Cosey ran a winning time of 3:42.89.
  • Neal placed second in the 100 meters in 11.64.
  • Ivan Pirnstill won the pole vault going 11 feet, 6 inches.
  • Munn-Page recorded second in the 200 meters in 24.52, with Cosey fourth in 24.57. Munn-Page took third in the long jump with a 19 foot, 1.5-inch effort.
  • Karter Boggs took first in the 1600 meters in 4:27.70 to set a meet record. Bierce was second in 5:07.08.
  • Boggs also won the 800-meter run in 2:02.51. Miley was second in 2:11.
  • Boggs added a third title, winning the 3200 meters in 10:14.32. Griffin was second in a time of 11:02.55.
  • Ella Green notched second in the girls 800-meter run in 2:39.48.
  • Hayden Ginn took third in the boys discus throw at 95-feet.

Buckeye Central, Crestline compete at Bob Valentine Invitational

  • JEROMESVILLE — Buckeye Central competed in the event at Hillsdale High School.
  • Colin Perry was third in the high jump at 5 feet, 8 inches and fourth in the long jump at 18-feet, 9 inches.
  • Angela Figueroa placed second in the girls 3200-meter run in 13:21.59.
  • The Buckettes took third in the girls 4X400 relay in 4:31.73.

Crestline also took part in the 11-team meet.

  • Jocelyn Noblit won the girls 100 meters in 13.40 and the long jump at 15-feet, 7 inches.
  • Cian Glennon was second in the at 200 meters in 23.63.
  • Parker Bowman took second in the 400 meters in 52.52 and fourth in the 100 meters in 11.56.
  • The boys won the 4X200 relay in 1:35.44 and placed fourth in the 4X100 relay in 46.18.
  • Carter Giesege won the long jump going 21 feet, 1 inch.
  • Addysen Giesige took third in the girls 400 meters in 1:05.46.

Tiger boys third in John Ramsey Invitational

BLOOMDALE — Seneca East boys finished third and the girls took sixth in an 8-team field at Elmwood High School.

  • Evan Schiefer finished first in the 800 meters in 2:04.72.
  • Boys 4X800 relay was first as Aiden Gressman, Ayden Perkins, Bradley Smith, and Evan Schiefer ran 8:31.63.
  • Boys 4X100 relay of Bryler Beamer, Ethan Shultz, Levi Dawson, and Taylor Young also captured top honors in 44.26.
  • Ethan Shultz won the long jump at 20 feet, 5 inches.
  • Justin Reiter was second in the shot put at 50 feet, 6.5 inches.
  • Brett Martin was second in the discus with a throw of 143 feet, 9 inches.
  • Isabel Stockmaster took third in the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches. She was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.32.
