The Jim Grandy Tennis Invitational hosted by the Bucyrus Varsity Tennis Team will be held at the Bucyrus Community Courts on Saturday, April 17, beginning at 10 a.m. The tennis courts are located north of the Bucyrus Secondary School on Redman Way.
Teams participating in this year’s invitational are Clear Fork, Ontario, Galion, Marion Harding, River Valley, Willard, Upper Sandusky, and Bucyrus.
Individual medals for the first three places in singles and doubles will be awarded and a team trophy for most points scored goes to the winning team.
The invitational recognizes the contributions of Jim Grandy who was a Bucyrus teacher and long-time tennis coach for the varsity tennis program.
